The Veterans' Memorial Park at Grant -Valkaria
The 4,900 square-foot Veterans' Memorial Park will be situated on the west side of Grant-Valkaria Town Hall, facing the front lake and fountain under a beautiful heritage oak tree. The majestic tree will provide shade and solace for family members and veterans as they remember their loved ones and brothers/sisters-in-arms and honor their memory. The Memorial is made possible by fundraising events, donations, and sponsorships from the area businesses, Grant-Valkaria residents, and surrounding community involvement.
The Memorial will be ADA-compliant and built in phases, pending sponsorships, donations, and commemorative brick sales. It will consist of a life-sized bronze soldier statue, stacked brick monuments that will hold the 4"x 8" laser engraved commemorative Veteran bricks, black slate placards to honor our Veterans, and Six Military branch emblems displayed on a 4-foot concrete block entrance wall. Two flag poles will fly the USA flag and the POW/MIA flag. Around the monuments will be concrete benches, a Battlefield Cross, a Bald Eagle Statue, and a K-9 Battle Dog. Educational markers will be placed within the Memorial Park educational area.

Our goal for the Veterans' Memorial Park at Grant-Valkaria is to create a very peaceful area for veterans, family members, and the community to enjoy as they remember their loved ones and brothers/sisters-in-arms and honor their memory.
Memorial Brick Sales, Donations and Sponsorships
There are many ways you can help fund the Memorial.
1. Purchase laser engraved commemorative brick(s)
To place your brick order, visit Grant-Valkaria Town Hall between 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday or you can print out the order form, complete it and send to GVCA, PO Box 90, Grant-Valkaria, FL, along with your payment by check. There is no limit on number of bricks you can order.
Pricing :
- $100 per brick without an emblem -- 3 lines of print, 20 characters each line (includes spaces and punctuation)
- $125 per brick with an emblem -- 3 lines of print, 12 characters each line (includes spaces and punctuation.)
- We will have several community events coming up that the brick orders can be placed
2. Sponsorships and donations

Sponsor Program
There are levels of sponsorship available to help GVCA obtain funding for the construction of The Veterans' Memorial Park at Grant-Valkaria. Sponsorships of $5,000 or more and In-Kind Sponsors will be permanently recognized on a Distinguished Donor plaque or brick to be installed at the site of the Memorial. The sponsorship levels are:
